Press ENTER key again on you keyboard to check if your katakana answer is match with the katakana question. You can also click O/X to evaluate your answer. You may also show/hide the hiragana stroke. You have 3 chances of checking the correct Katakana Character, else it will mark as broken ball on the right side and the Katakana character will move back to top instead of bouncing that represent the correct answer. At the end of the game, you will be rated based on your skills in typing the Katakana Symbols.

I like the fact that it would be a good tool to use to test my skills with Katakana, but I wish it would just accept the Romaji and not have to be hiragana writing. I do not have the setting on my computer.

I had the same problem as LIz. I typed in the romanji for the katakana character shown but it was never accepted. I checked and re-checked to make sure I had the right answer but couldn't get it to work.

To the people who said it doesn't work. Did you change your settings to the Japanese hiragana keyboard? If not then that is your problem. If you don't have that on your computer then you have to download the Asian Language Pack to your computer and then set it to Japanese keyboard. The directions specifically said to change your keyboard to Japanese. That is probably your problem. If it is not, then I don't know how to help you =( at least you people know your romaji so thats good!
